Shipping Policy - nextCIGAR.com

Thank you for choosing nextCIGAR. This policy describes our shipping procedures to guarantee efficient and timely delivery of your orders.

We ship from our Hong Kong warehouse, which has both bonded and non-bonded facilities. Therefore, depending on the product, Hong Kong taxes may or may not be included. 

Please select your shipping location when you visit our website.

1. Shipping Methods and Courier Selection:

S.F. Express (Hong Kong only) - any order value.

EMS Speedpost - order value US$500 and over.

International Air Registered Mail or e-Express+ - order value below US$500.

UPS is used for all lighter shipments.

Please take note:

You may need to pay extra shipping fees for oversized or overweight items.

We cannot ship hazardous materials. Lighters containing butane will be discharged before shipping.

Humidors may require additional shipping and insurance fees. Shipping damage refunds require insurance approval.

For destinations where EMS Speedpost service is not supported, International Air Registered Mail shall be the standard shipping method for all orders.

nextCIGAR reserves the right to arrange shipments in one or more parcels to comply with import requirements. If you have specific shipping requests, please add detailed instructions in the order notes when you checkout.

2. Customised Shipping Options:

If you require specific courier services or split shipping, please leave instructions during checkout or contact customer service. If your order requests cannot be fulfilled, you will be notified by email within 1-2 business days. Please note that additional charges may apply.

Large orders may be proactively split into multiple shipments to ensure compliance with your country's import regulations.

3. Product Inspection and Handling:

We may conduct random quality checks and perform necessary maintenance (e.g., to prevent damage, mould, and beetles) on cigars. Therefore, it is standard practice for cigars to be shipped unsealed.

4. Customer Responsibilities (IMPORTANT):

Address Accuracy: Ensure that your address details, including your phone number, are accurate. You can provide this information in your local language. However, if we ship your order via UPS or DHL, we may require an English translation of your address.

Import Duties and Taxes: You are solely responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, and licensing fees. Please note that customs clearance may be delayed due to local regulations.

Customs Clearance and Package Collection: You are responsible for clearing customs and picking up your package from your local post office or courier within the designated collection timeframe.

Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with their local customs regulations and import license requirements prior to placing an order. We will not issue refunds for parcels that are held or restricted by customs due to non-compliance.

CONSEQUENCES OF NON-COMPLIANCE:

A US$50 service and re-shipping/stocking fee, in addition to any applicable taxes, will be charged for each package returned for any reason, including but not limited to incorrect addresses, customs clearance issues, or failure to collect the package.

Items returned in a condition that differs from their original state are not eligible for restocking, reshipping, refund, or exchange.

Unclaimed Merchandise: Merchandise left in our warehouse for more than six months without prior notification will be considered abandoned and destroyed. No refund will be issued for destroyed merchandise.
