In 2020, marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Cuba and China, Cambodia, and Vietnam, The Pacific Cigar Co., the exclusive distributor for Habanos, S.A., unveiled a trio of limited-edition ceramic jars. Each commemorative jar, celebrating one of these significant relationships, houses meticulously crafted cigars from selected brands; Montecristo, Partagás, and Hoyo de Monterrey.
Each jar, a tribute to these lasting alliances, contains 25 premium Habanos. The Cuba-China jar showcases 25 Montecristo Edmundo cigars. With only 1,000 jars produced per country, each individually numbered, these editions are a piece of history. As a tribute to the year of the rat, the first animal in the Chinese zodiac cycle, each of the three jars features a stylized drawing of a rat.
