In 2003, his family dream transformed from a Miami factory to the sprawling My Father Cigars complex in Nicaragua, controlling every step of the tobacco journey. Behind the name “La Promesa” it holds great meaning for Don Pepin Garcia, translated as “The Promise”, which stands as a testament to the promise he made to his family upon leaving his native Cuba. The promise is to prove and make himself something in the cigar world outside of Cuba. Today, My Father Cigars is among the most dominant names in the cigar industry.

This blend consists of Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos grown on Garcia’s family farms. Beautifully cloaked in an Ecuador Habano Rosado Oscuro. Encased with rich and complex flavours of pepper, leather and oak wood. Balanced with a wonderfully rich creaminess.
