The Davidoff 702 Series was a renowned line of premium cigars introduced in 2009 as a reimagined version of their iconic Signature and Aniversario series. Now discontinued, this series featured an enhanced blend giving aficionados a unique smooth yet intense experience.
The 702 Series gets its name from the exclusive "702" hybrid tobacco leaf used as the wrapper, derived from a specially cultivated Ecuadorian Habano seed. It is known for its beautiful appearance, with a slightly reddish-brown colour and a silky-smooth texture. The wrapper leaves were carefully selected for their quality and aesthetic appeal. Beautifully balanced with filler and binder tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, contributing to their complexity and character.
This Robusto cigar starts out with aromas of cream and oak are present, which primarily come from the wrapper. Aromas of leather, fresh spices, citrus and hazelnut can be increasingly noticed. In the final third, the aromas of fresh spices are intensified, and rounded off by the creamy notes of the 702 wrapper, which ensures an intense and yet smooth taste experience.
